Being a Woman is Magic

Whenever we have the opportunity, we rejoice in organizing events for the Lourdes models, and March 8th was the ideal occasion to pay tribute to the woman within each of us. With hearts full of emotion and a curiosity for inner exploration, we organized a holistic retreat for Women's Day. The weekend was focused on personal development, relaxation, spiritual connection, and exploring various techniques and practices.

The magic of being a woman is built from various sources of energy and gains momentum as we focus inward. We began the weekend retreat by opening the sacred space with a shamanic experience and then with a guided meditation to send unconditional love to our inner child. As adults, we react to emotions based on the experiences, sensations, and emotions we experienced in the early years of life. We must learn to communicate with this inner child within each of us: to hold them, to explain that there is nothing wrong with their emotions, that it is okay to cry and to occasionally feel negative emotions such as anger, helplessness, and sadness. Through the practice of sending love to our inner child, we learned to love ourselves, to accept ourselves, and to allow ourselves to live freely exactly as we are, as women.

Friday continued with discussions and practices of Theta Healing, Recall Healing, the Law of Attraction, and the shamanic medicine wheel. In the evening, everyone chose what they felt like doing: relaxation at the spa, or a tarot session, or discovering therapy with essential oils from Doterra. The energy of the group and the synchronicity of the 22 women who participated in the event were fantastic and set the tone for Saturday, which began with a tantra session for exploring experiences, teachings, and deconstructing possible misconceptions about tantra. This was followed by a guided meditation focusing on the womb: women and their ancestors. The womb is considered a symbol of fertility and connection to ancestors. Why is the healing of uterine memories important? According to Taoist and Buddhist philosophy, we are spiritually connected to seven generations of ancestors. We are the sum of past generations, and our ancestors' mistakes reflect upon us.

The discussion session on femininity and masculinity explored the social and spiritual aspects of these energies, and we discussed when we are in unity and when in conflict. Ideally, both femininity and masculinity should coexist harmoniously and complement each other in our lives and relationships. However, due to social constraints, gender stereotypes, or other factors, conflicts or imbalances between these energies may arise. Exploring femininity and masculinity in a deep and conscious way can be a personal and spiritual journey that allows us to discover and understand ourselves and our relationships better.

The women's circle fire ceremony concluded the women's retreat in a space of connection. The fire and the collective energy of the group can help release pent-up emotions, heal traumas, and increase understanding and compassion for oneself and others. We felt free to be ourselves... there was magic among us and within us.Ceremonia focului în cerc de femei a încheiat retreat-ul pentru femei într-un spațiu de conexiune.
